I bought this device on a recent trip around Queenland and it worked wonderfully. I never missed a turn, ecxept for one place where it failed to alert roadworks ahead on the road but other than that absolutely accurate. I definitley recommned this one to everyone.

You don't know you need a TomTom Go Live HD Traffic device until you are caught in a traffic jam. When TomTom directs you around it and you make your appointment or desired start time at work - well you love it. It took me off the main roads and on to the back streets in Sydney's peak hour and got me to where I wanted to be on time - enough said.

I bought the GO Live 820 purely for the traffic feature, and so far it's worked quite well. There have been instances where it has not advised of backed up traffic, and others where it has advised of a delay and that I was still on the fastest route. There seems to be very little support from TomTom for these new Live devices in terms of additional content, but out of the box it works a treat. One large drawback in my opinion however, is the lack of a security PIN when you turn the unit on. After having a previous TomTom stolen from my vehicle, I find such a security feature a basic requirement.
