I have to say I was a bit sceptical when I heard about how good the live traffic feature was, but the first time I used it to drive home in peak hour, I got home in record time, AND saved petrol! I'm sure it will pay for itself in no time. Even when you know where you're going, it's worth using for the traffic feature.

I have tried to input camp coordinates as per my camping book eg - 36 43 05 S; 147 07 55 E, however Tom Tom does not accept these coordinates. It is very frustrating as some camp sites are not clearly visible from the main road after sundown. I really don't want to have to purchase a rival product that I am informed will get me to my destination the input of coordinates.
Also, as traffic can be rather loud, even with volume at max I can't hear the directions. Can the audio be linked into the vehicle radio??

Was in love with my Tom Tom ONEXL only to find that I really liked to have the names of the streets announced which makes it easier to navigate. My estimation of distance sometimes got me into the wrong roads. Nice detours but they do take up time. The Tom Tom 825 Live is fantastic, very user friendly.

I have used several GPS devices but none can match the Tom tom series. The 825 is an excellent unit and the Live features a great step forward. I never travel without it, even locally.

Was on my last demerit point and decided that having a tom tom to make me more aware that I'm actually speeding. Getting to places and having it find alternative routes during traffic congestion has saved me so much time.
