tomtom start 25. cheap and works
Date:19 March 2013
i bought this at sainsbury. used nectar points and it only cost me in real cash terms around 30 pounds. Straight out of the box onto the windscreen in the supermarket carpark. typed in my home post code and off we went. easy to use. all sat nav systems get confused with my house. we always get calls from take-away delivery people who get lost. so not tomtom's fault. Bought a £5 microsd, formatted, downloaded usa map for holiday. all good. no complaints. at all. sure it doesn't make tea or bluetooth to my phone when driving, my car does that (not make tea!).

Terrible product and over priced
Date:10 March 2013
As soon as I got it we were having problems. It was impossible to turn off this alarm sound which it made every 30 seconds. It is also not very user friendly. It took me hours to learn how to use certain parts and also, you are unable to put a full post code in as there is no space button.. it doesn't work and if you put the full postcode with out a space it doesn't recognise it. As you can imagine, it is very very very annoying. We were always taken to the wrong location.. a few streets or miles away sometimes! Also, after 3 months the GPS signal wouldn't work which was the worst of all. I no longer use it and threw £100 down the drain. Tom Tom never again.
