Watch DIED at starting line of my half marathon!!!
Date:July 29, 2012
Today I ran my first half marathon in San Francisco and at the starting line the watch DIED! The battery was fully charged. First it said memory full and a fellow runner with the same watch suggested I do a hard reset (pressing the yellow button and the far black button). After doing the hard restart, the watch would not turn back on. I was floored. I could not get it to turn back on by pressing buttons.
I was hesitant to trust a gps product with Nike's brand on it, but I received this watch as a gift and thought is was worth trying out.
I have used it for 40 miles and would not recommend it to a beyond beginner runner. The watch would not hook up the satellite until .5-1.0 into my usual run, which made it not worth using since it was not accurate. For runs in San Francisco it would take a few minutes to find the satellite, which was very annoying, especially when I am running with company because I would be fidgeting with this sub-par gps watch instead of running.
Save your money, invest in a better, more reliable watch. This watch is finicky with charging, it does not charge on all my computers' usb ports, I have heard this same complaint from my friend too.
If I am able to get this watch turned back on or get Nike or TomTom to replace this watch, I will be selling it quickly.

good motivation, great value, one suggestion
Date:June 1, 2012
Favorite features: Tracks Route Data, Run Reminders, heart rate
Early adopter, though I did not know that in April 2011. So there were some Nike+ site growing pains and GPS as well as firmware updates to go through but through all of this the product performed well enough. I actually get better tracking by comparision than smart phones. Pricing was great for this marketplace also. Only item would be to offer model with slightly larger band, or ability to somehow extend, I know this is a personal thing but you wouldn't know unless I told you.

Accuracy very poor
Date:May 30, 2012
Favorite features: Run History
I had the watch for a couple of months and noticed significant inaccuracy. The displayed pace is typically 15-30 sec/mi off. I do not want to use the Nike+ sensor because I prefer other manufacturers shoes. I tested the watch against my TomTom car GPS and another mfg model. The car unit and the other mfg watch had almost identical results, this watch was off by 15 s/mi or .5mi total. I run in open environments and single family suburban neighborhoods but the watch has trouble keeping a signal. The heart rate average is calculated inaccurate on the Nike+ website. If you are a serious runner this one is not for you. If you just like to get approximate results it might work for you.

Map Route Not Working
Date:September 9, 2011
Although everything about it is great... the only feature once you connect the watch to download your route... it doesn't. It tracks the miles and time, but the actual mapping does not. I've complained, but so far nothing

Great GPS for running
Date:August 8, 2011
Favorite features: Ease of Use
Great to run with, looks good and it works with Nike+ sensor and website. My only complaint is I can't download the run route data outside of Nike+ website for use with MapMyRun, or similar interfaces. Also, would like to be able to see my location on the screen.

Amazing buy
Date:August 2, 2011
I just picked up the Nike+ Sportwatch for local trail running here in the Pacific Northwest. Up until now I was using my Iphone with the Nike pod that goes in my shoe but as we all know, the Iphone is a bit clunky to run with. This watch is not only lightweight and looks good for day to day wear, but is so easy to shift to run mode that it can be done with just a few button clicks. It also has an ingenious backlight that you can activate by simply tapping the screen so if running in low light, you don't have to hassle with the buttons at all! Def a great buy!!!
